NEW URBAN ARTS CENTRE

This project proposes a new centre, dedicated to street and contemporary urban arts. Providing a space for artists to explore, create and exhibit their work. Specialist facilities (Ventilated spray rooms and sculpting workshops) allow artists full freedom to make what ever they envision.

The large communal atrium lies at the heart of the design, with chill out spaces and places for artists to share work with one another. Private tuition rooms allow public to be taught new and innovative street art methods and private studios allow anyone to create with peace of mind. The primary space in this building is the exhibition floor, an urban sculpture garden, traditional gallery and street art exhibit allow people to view all the styles, whilst offering opportunities for the public to physically paint any wall they see, which is the ethos of urban street art.
